Home Learning
Welcome to Shooting Stars!
Here you will find important information and resources to support your child’s learning.
I look forward to working with you throughout your child’s Nursery journey. If you have any issues or concerns, please feel free to chat to me at the Nursery door or alternatively you can telephone the school office and arrange an appointment.
We have PE on Tuesday. You child wears the usual Nursery uniform.
Homework is given out on Friday and must be back by Wednesday.
- Sing and chant familiar songs and rhymes.
- Understand similar instructions, for example: ‘Line up at the door.’
- Use actions to show understanding of similar instructions: tap your head; jump on one foot.
- Learn new vocabulary and use them to communicate their needs.

Thank you for your continued support.

Nursery rhymes:
It would be great if you could sing songs with your child at home, as this helps to develop listening and concentration skills and speaking and listening skills. I have attached links for some of the songs we will be learning in Nursery.
